In the era of digitalization and government transparency, the "One Data Indonesia" initiative plays a crucial role in the management of accurate and integrated data. The Regency of Indramayu, under the local government's directive, has implemented an ambitious program to revitalize sectoral data through the "Data Revitalization of the One Data Indramayu Portal" event held from August 26 to 30, 2024.
The event, held in the Meeting Room of the Communications and Informatics Office, was inaugurated by the Head of Encryption and Statistics, Kiky Nurhakiky, S.T., M.Kom., and coordinated by computer officer Tofan Giri Ginanda, A.Md. The activity was attended by operators from 28 regional devices in Indramayu Regency, who play a significant role in the integration and validation of regional priority data into the One Data Indramayu Portal.
The primary goal of this activity is to ensure that all priority data—from the realization of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) for the years 2022 to 2023—are available on the data portal. This is in accordance with the mandate of Regent Regulation No. 37 of 2023, which requires the availability and updating of data as part of the sectoral statistics management indicators. This success will directly impact the improvement of the Bureaucratic Reform Index in Indramayu Regency.
Although the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Indramayu Regency was not directly involved in the organization of this event, its role as a sectoral data mentor is critical in supporting the realization of One Data Indramayu. The BPS of Indramayu Regency proactively supports this initiative through the provision of effective data collection methodologies.
This activity resulted in a significant data collection with 120 main performance indicators that have been inventoried, and will continue to be monitored by the Regional Data Steward to ensure that these data are available and accessible to the public through the portal. With ongoing data updates, Indramayu Regency not only enhances the quality of decision-making at the regional level but also strengthens the foundation for the implementation of data-based policies in the future.
Initiatives like the Data Revitalization of the One Data Indramayu Portal are vital steps in supporting bureaucratic reform and enhancing local government transparency, ultimately contributing to better and more accurate public service delivery in Indramayu Regency.
